Huawei’s 2nd Annual Western Europe HCIE (Huawei Certified Internetwork Expert) Summit took place in beautiful Bucharest, Romania, gathering engineers from Huawei’s Western Europe Channel Partner network.
More than 2,000 of the industry’s most influential executives, from operators and vertical industries to standards organisations, were in London from 19 to 21 November for Huawei’s 9th Annual Global Mobile Broadband Forum.
Identifying key vertical sectors’ requirements, anticipating relevant trends early and mapping them into the 5G design is a fundamental element for the 5G success. Therefore a close collaboration of vertical industries and 5G infrastructure providers will be mutually beneficial.
Security and privacy features need to be built into the system design for 5G at an early stage. This requires an active dialogue between the security and privacy communities and all other parties who contribute to 5G technology. This White Paper is a part of this process.
