Huawei is well placed to contribute to Europe’s desire to become one of the world leaders in developing the digital economy, while safeguarding data protection and privacy rights.

But what is at stake here? What are the technological drivers that need Europe’s attention and which technologies will come to the fore in just five years from now?

Huawei shared its 2025 Global Industry Vision at this latest DigitALL Lunch debate in Brussels, presenting a new report of that name.

The company also put a special focus on the revolution that is coming in the form of the Internet of Vehicles. 5G networks combined with new connected vehicle technologies will be a key factor in helping Europe bring down CO2 emissions from the transport sector.
