Huawei Cyber Security Transparency Centre
FACT-BASED TRUST AND SECURITY
The new Huawei Cyber Security Transparency Centre opened its doors in Brussels on 5 March. Its aim is to make it easier for our European partners to collaborate with Huawei in an environment of fact-based trust and security.
Leading representatives from governments, business and academia, as well as EU policymakers, attended the Opening Ceremony and participated in a High-Level Conference to celebrate this milestone and debate the key issues at stake.
HUB FOR ICT COOPERATION
Huawei’s EU Cybersecurity Centre will be a place for exhibition and experimentation on the possibilities offered by 5G in many areas, from communications to connected cars and energy, where our experts will be able to explain the technical aspects behind our products in a way that is understandable for both policymakers and customers.
It will also be a hub for Huawei to cooperate with the European ICT ecosystem by allowing information exchange on key issues such as standardisation, certification and security requirements, providing transparency on what we do and how we are doing it, in order to provide our contribution to the building of the Digital Single Market and Security Union.
