The sudden rise of Chinese innovation has taken the world by surprise. Chinese entrepreneurs are aiming to change the label of "Made in China" into “Designed in China".

In 2016, the number of Chinese patent applications surged by 45%, leading it to become the largest user of the international patent system, surpassing Japan and the United States.

Participate in an interactive half-day event led by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China together with partner organisations, including Huawei.

The forum will provide insights and different views through discussions with top leaders from China and the EU, as well as business people from both markets who experience these trends on the ground.
Huawei’s Tony Graziano, Vice-President of its European Public Affairs and Communication Office, will participate in the Panel Discussion Session 1: Challenges and prospects in China’s innovation.
